Managing multiple modifications in your favorite PC games can quickly become a chaotic task without proper organization. Fortunately, Valve provides a built-in sorting tool through its community hub that allows players to bundle their preferred add-ons into curated groups. Learning how to properly utilize this feature improves your gaming efficiency and makes sharing compilation lists with friends remarkably seamless.

Navigating to the Right Hub Section

To begin the curation process, open your desktop application and click on the Community tab located at the top menu bar. From the dropdown options, select Workshop to enter the main user-generated content section. Once there, type the name of the specific game you want to organize into the search bar to access its unique landing page.

After entering the specific game hub, look for the Browse dropdown menu situated near the main navigation tabs. Click on this menu and select Collections from the list to see what other players have created. This page contains a localized button on the right-hand sidebar that allows you to start your own compilation.

Setting Up Your Core Details

Clicking the initialization option will open a new setup form where you must input essential identifying data. Choose a clear, descriptive title that immediately tells other players what kinds of modifications are contained within the bundle. You will also need to upload a square branding image that serves as the visual cover for your public list.

Provide a brief description explaining the purpose of your list or listing any specific installation instructions. Select the appropriate categories or tags provided by the system so that other community members can easily discover your work through filters. Once all required text boxes are filled, click the save option to advance to the file selection screen.

Adding Items Into Your Custom List

The system will present a list divided into items you have subscribed to, items you have created, or items you have favorited. Simply check the boxes next to each individual modification you wish to include in your bundle. Taking the time to filter through your options systematically ensures you do not accidentally leave out vital dependencies.

If you discover a new modification later, you can also add it directly from its individual item page. Simply look for the dedicated save option on the item page and choose your list from the pop-up menu. This flexibility allows your bundle to grow dynamically over time as game updates introduce fresh content.

Finalizing and Publishing the Bundle

After compiling all your chosen add-ons, you must review the final layout before sharing it publicly. The interface allows you to change the visibility settings, meaning you can keep the list private, restricted to friends, or entirely public. Public lists are visible to the entire community and can be indexed by search tools over time.

Click the final publish button to make the compilation active across the network ecosystem. You can now copy the unique URL from your web browser to share your setup with other players instantly. Users who visit the page can click a single button to subscribe to every item simultaneously, bypassing hours of manual searching.
